Independence Day…

Started off the day with this shot of my backyard, then headed out to Hillsboro to shoot Tom Cox for Metro Council, walking in the 4th of July parade. Headed home to set up our first-ever block party-cookout on our front lawn. The kids decided on “Monsters, Inc.” for the pre-fireworks movie (rear-screen projection via laptop and projector) and even the adults got into it! After dark it was time for the light show! A great time was had by all, already planning next year’s!
