New Photo Studio…

Demolition on my old studio began last Thursday, making way for the new photo studio we’re building this summer. Our contractor, pictured below working late into the evening, actually used to own our property, renovating it in the late 70′s and then sold it to us, early 90′s. He was our first choice when we decided to enlarge the studio and were very fortunate to have him say yes. We’re adding on nearly 500 sq.ft. bringing the total to about 800 sq.ft. There is stuff everywhere and even though I’m pretty organized, it’s a logistical nightmare pulling gear together for a shoot, but hey, I’m up for it and stoked about the new space! I’ll be posting photos of the progress throughout the summer as it transpires. For those of you who have visited or been photographed here, it looks quite different, doesn’t it?!

Great sky in the pic. Did he chip off some of the cost for some feature shots? :P

That’s too cool. I look forward to seeing it’s progress and visiting when it’s complete.

Glad to see everything is moving forward. Can’t wait to see the new studio when it’s done.
