Holiday Product Shot…

Always interesting to see what the graphic and web designers do when the client requests a “very simple product shot”.

New Family Member…

Introducing our newest family member, Mr. John “Barley”corn, Beauregard, Benson, Bojangles, Barthalomew, Bartles & James, Bohinkus in his first studio portrait. A mini Golden-Doodle (Golden Retriever/Miniture Toy poodle) he has grown so much in the last few weeks. While growing up, my family always had dogs, (my Mom even bred pedigreed Daschunds for a time) [...]

Zoo Lights…

Took the family to Zoo Lights Friday night and met up with several other families we know through my daughter. Our own posse! The weather was great, we all over-dressed and thank heavens we’re members because we bypassed the huge lines and cruised right in. It’s always a treat to see all the lights they [...]

Photos with Santa…

One assignment I’ve never had to do as a photographer was “Photos with Santa”. I’ve BEEN the Santa on a few impromptu photo setups for family or friends but never had to do the mall thing. I’ve been lucky. I don’t know how these folks do it all day and put that much energy into [...]

Before and After…

My client needed a great shot to submit for a housing design competition and show. Only problem was, the house wasn’t ready due to the cold weather and various construction delays. It was also a muddy worksite in December in Portland, and as you know, not the nicest weather. Yet the deadline loomed. Shot the grass [...]

Studio Portraits…

Christmas Card…

Christmas Lights…

Decided to forgo the hanging icicle lights this year for something more traditional to highlight the new lines of the studio. For many of you, this is your first view of the place. I can only say it’s been awesome shooting new assignments in the new studio! With getting moved in and all the gear [...]
