Introducing our newest family member, Mr. John “Barley”corn, Beauregard, Benson, Bojangles, Barthalomew, Bartles & James, Bohinkus in his first studio portrait. A mini Golden-Doodle (Golden Retriever/Miniture Toy poodle) he has grown so much in the last few weeks. While growing up, my family always had dogs, (my Mom even bred pedigreed Daschunds for a time) and it just felt like it was time for new pet after losing our cat, Mica, to old age last January. Wow, almost a year now – just thought of that. He’s very well behaved and makes a great studio dog, quietly curling up on the rug beneath the desk by my feet, while I work on the computer, or hanging in the office while I have a shoot in the studio. He’s really cool to have around, I forgot how much I enjoyed having a dog.

Such a beautiful face!!! Jay and I have had dogs since we bought our house in 1986…our golden, Skyler, is now 12 and is such a part of our family…they have a way of doing that!
