Keith Moon, Who drummer, 1946-1978

Going through my old rock and roll slides while looking for images to upload to the PhotoShelter Collection, (which is now defunct) I ran across this old Fujichrome slide of Keith Moon, drummer for the Who. Of the few images of the Who I sent them, this is the one they selected. This shot is fromĀ a 1976 Who concert at the Phoenix Memorial Coliseum. Fujichrome 160T (tungsten) pushed to 320 ISO. I miss Keith, The Who and I feel so old!

Brian, I was there for that show – did I go with you and Terry? Such a long time ago. Memory cells not quite up snuff. SNUFF – maybe that’s why I don’t remember. Ha! Ha!

Yes, you did go with us. There was some mold/fungus involved and you drove us home! Thanks for remembering!

    Brian:
Great pics. Glad to know there are some quality shots of KM. I was at the concert at the Cow Palalce in Nov. 1973. It was awesome and an interesting piece of history. Take care.
